Buffet for garden party
“Saira produced the most wonderful meal for a lunch party at our house for about sixty guests. She and her team provided excellent and responsive service. Saira took great care in carefully working out our requirements and wishes beforehand. She discussed everything with us so that there were no hiccups or loose ends to sort out on the day. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented and served, the timing was just right, and everything was left just so afterwards. All of this was done with a minimum of fuss. We didn’t have to worry about anything! We and our guests were delighted and very impressed. Both food and service were of the highest quality. Thank you Saira!
Food was sublime
Saira cooked a fabulous evening meal for my 60th birthday party for 90 guests; her food was sublime. The beautifully presented canapes, the flavoursome curries and chutneys, the individually decorated rice puddings, all were totally delicious. Best of all Saira and her team took charge of absolutely everything on the night which meant that I could relax and enjoy the evening with my guests. Sharing a meal with friends and family was a large part of the event and every single message I have received following the party has mentioned what a pleasurable experience this was.
From initial consultation about menu choices to the quality of food and service on the evening, I always felt that Saira wanted me to have an evening to remember. Mission accomplished! Thank you so much Saira.
My daughter and I attended Saira's cookery workshop as a gift from my wife. We are both keen cooks at home. We had a fantastic time, and learned five new recipes, none of which were meat/chicken curry with rice! My favourite was an outstanding and easy monkfish curry which I have managed to replicate a couple of times since to rave reviews. I now understand how to make a delicious machine black dahl, and how to prepare chapattis from scratch. Being a bit of a carnivore, I usually pass on vegetable curry, but Saira's courgette and potato affair with a big squeeze of lemon at the end was superb. You learn together how to prepare the food, and then sit down to eat your efforts at the end. A really nice shared experience, with an introduction to some unfamiliar ingredients. Such a pleasure, strongly recommended.
50th Birthday Buffet
Saira provided a delicious spread of spicy snacks for my party, adding a touch of class to a very informal event. My guests were all talking about the food, especially the coriander/pomegranate chutney. Unreservedly recommended!
This was a truly inspiring course. I enjoy cooking with spices but learnt so much more about spice combinations and different techniques. Very hands on - in a relaxed atmosphere with a feast at the end to celebrate.
Thanks to Leila Bunton for my fab birthday present, an afternoon honing my cookery skills at Saira’s Kitchen in Winchester. What a nice way to spend the afternoon with friends, cooking, eating and drinking - all in a beautiful setting. A far cry from those grim Home Economics lessons at school
